Saturday, May 9th, put on your best spring outfit and join us at Monster for a Tea Party during the May Ballard Art Walk. Featuring the colorful art of Rhodora Jacob! From 6-9pm, we are serving an array of lovely cookies, cake and iced tea for the occasion! Enjoy Tea Party themed music, in your fancy attire. About the artist: Rhodora Jacob is a Seattle artist that lives in a world of pop surrealiism. She first attended Olympic College where I studied Fine Arts and Photography. She then attended the Art Institute of Seattle where she obtained her bachelors in Media Arts and Animation. Rhodora is an artist that loves to create beauty in a mixture of modern influences and an essence of whimsy , with a touch of traditional techniques. She believes art is a form that is expressed freely and has the potential to find itself in unusual places. Rhodora strives to achieve the free spirit and curiosity that my art continues to teach her everyday through exploration and open-mindedness, but most importantly she believes in obtaining her child-like wonder.
