Why Monsters?

 

We love monsters! Monsters of all kinds: from the imaginary ones under your bed, to real ones like the Loch Ness Monster and Bigfoot. Inside our shop you'll find all things with monsters: socks, art, stickers, buttons, clothing, monster mitts, toys, kids clothes, and more! Once you start a Monster collection, they begin to multiply on their own.

We espeically love Sea Monsters! Our Red Monster Squid is the embodiment of that. Our store owner, Tara Monster makes many tshirts and hoodies featuring squids, octopi, jellyfish, and even sea dragons. Living in Seattle, where the Giant Octopus is swimming in our deep waters, we have a fascination with them. Our store is located in Ballard, an old shipping community where sailors drop by to tell us stories from the sea. Right next door, we have the Lock-n-Keel, a Bar that keeps the Sailors swimming!

 

So, come on in, and bring all you little monsters with you! They will be in good company.

What is your Return Policy?

 

Our return policy is 30 Days. Unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange after this period. If your item is defective, or you would like a different size, please return the item in its original (unworn) condition. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. You may return the item at our store location (see contact page) or by mail. Unfortunately, shipping fees are non refundable, and return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

 

Sale items: Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

 

Late or missing refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at monsterartandclothing@gmail.com.

What is your Shipping Policy?

 

We ship to all U.S. customers through USPS First Class Mail. It takes up to 3 days to process your order, and an additional 3-7 business days for delivery from Seattle Washington. Orders are only shipped Mon-Thurs. Orders do not ship on Fri, Sat or Sun.


Shipping to Canada: Typically takes 2-3 weeks through USPS First Class International. There is no way to track international packages with this standard delivery. Sometimes customs may require you to pay tax on your purchase. If this happens, you will be contacted by your local post office, where you will need to pick up the package, and pay the tax. The tax is usually only 5% of your purchase price.

International Shipping: All orders are shipped internationally using USPS First Class International. There is no way to track international packages with this standard delivery. Packages outside the United States can take 2-6 weeks to arrive - mainly because of customs. Sometimes customs may require you to pay tax on your purchase. If this happens you will be contacted by your local post office, and you will need to pick up the package there, and pay the tax.

 

Shipping insurance is included on all international orders, and is part of the shipping cost. It is valid for 90 days. Please contact the shop if you have not received your order in 30 days. Upgrading orders to Priority Mail, Express Mail, or UPS is possible. These methods do provide a tracking service for international orders, but cost more. Feel free to contact us for these services, and revised shipping prices. You must provide your phone number for tracking with these services.
